ABOUT MEC

Midwest Environmental Consulting is an Environmental, Health, Safety & Compliance concern located in Southeastern Wisconsin founded by Sean Cranley, P.G., a professional with nearly three decades of wide-ranging and progressive experience in the field practicing in Southeast Wisconsin, Northeast Illinois and beyond. Mr. Cranley is a Licensed Professional Geologist in Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana, a qualified Hydrogeologist (WI), ASTM Environmental Professional, certified tank Site Assessor (WI), as well as certified Asbestos Inspector (WI).

 

On all projects he brings to bear a unique combination of leadership, team building, technical expertise, integrity, creativity and focus on quality, with strong written, graphic and oral communication skills. His primary expertise includes the performance and direction of numerous site assessment and subsurface investigations, exposure pathway evaluations as well as the design and implementation of corrective actions. Mr. Cranley is well versed in the principles of risk assessment, natural attenuation and vapor intrusion as they pertain to achieving closure and redevelopment of blighted or contaminated properties. He also has substantial experience in health & safety training and program implementation, waste characterization, various types of compliance evaluation & reporting, as well as asbestos inspection and compliance.

VISION

MEC seeks to provide responsive and effective environmental, health, safety and compliance solutions at a discount when compared with traditional consulting firms. With a no frills, low overhead approach, Midwest provides primary as well as sub-consulting services to private and public sector clients, including traditional consulting firms, thus facilitating timely, flexible and cost-effective response actions, focusing on Kenosha, Racine and Walworth Counties (Wisconsin) and Lake and McHenry Counties (Illinois).
